Budget Bill Legislative Histories

Budget bills are the size of books, often 600 – 800 pages. Surprisingly, the Governor's Bill Jacket for a budget bill usually provides little or no comment on specific sections, and comments are quite general in nature.
 
We can provide the Governor's Bill Jacket if you wish, but upon request, we will sift through our gatherings of Budget material for information specific to the section of your concern. (We generally get 2 cartons of reports and documents related to each year’s budget.)

Our proprietary legislative histories for budget bills cost more than our regular legislative histories because of the time involved and the cost of obtaining all the material. However, the cost is still very reasonable ($200 - $300), and we are the only source for such compilations.
